LOVE HOTELS

Privacy policy

The short version: we try to know as little about you as possible, and we don't sell what little we do know. This page is the long version.

What we collect

  • Nothing personal by default. We don't ask you to register, sign up, or log in. We don't know your name, your email, or what hotel you picked.
  • Aggregated analytics via Plausible. Plausible doesn't set cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't build a profile of you. We use it to count page views and understand which guides people read.
  • localStoragestores a single preference: whether you've dismissed our introductory notice. That value stays in your browser; we never read it.

What we don't do

  • No tracking cookies.
  • No third-party advertising trackers on editorial pages.
  • No user accounts, no email lists, no push notifications.
  • No sale of any data, ever.

Third-party services

Some content is loaded from third parties. These parties have their own privacy policies:

  • Unsplash — photography on some pages.
  • OpenFreeMap / Protomaps — map tile serving for the interactive map.
  • Cloudflare — we host on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic request logs for anti-abuse purposes.
  • Affiliate partners — when you click an ad slot, the partner network may set their own cookies. Clearly-labeled ad slots are the only place this happens.

Children

This site is designed for adults. If we learn someone under 18 has submitted information to us in any way (there isn't currently a way to do so), we'll delete it on request.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the version date at the top of the page will update. Minor wording changes happen without notice.
